The authoring process is usually the last stop in the production cycle before distribution. Motion graphics are graphics that use video and/or animation technology to create the illusion of motion or a transforming appearance. Video compression refers to reducing the quantity of data used to represent digital video images, and is a combination of spatial image compression and temporal motion compensation. Video compression is an example of the concept of source coding in Information theory.
Optical media replication is the process of duplicating CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs, there are two methods of doing this. The discs can be individually molded at a high volume disc manufacturing plant or they can be "burned" onto recordable media.
